Wallet Import Issues

Problem: "Invalid Private Key" Error

Possible Causes:

  • Private key is incomplete or has extra characters
  • Copied key includes spaces or line breaks
  • Wrong format (some wallets export in different formats)

Solutions:

  • Double-check the private key is exactly 64 characters (without 0x prefix)
  • Remove any spaces, line breaks, or extra characters
  • Try copying the key again from your wallet
  • Use seed phrase import instead

Problem: Seed Phrase Not Working

Solutions:

  • Verify you have the correct number of words (12, 15, 18, or 24)
  • Check for typos in each word
  • Ensure words are in the correct order
  • Make sure you're using the seed phrase for the correct wallet

Connection & Data Issues

Problem: App Won't Load Data

Solutions:

  • Check your internet connection
  • Try switching between WiFi and mobile data
  • Close and reopen the app
  • Clear app cache (Android) or restart app (iOS)
  • Update to the latest app version

Problem: Portfolio Data Not Updating

Solutions:

  • Pull down to refresh the portfolio screen
  • Check if your wallet is properly connected
  • Verify your wallet has HyperLiquid positions
  • Wait a few minutes for blockchain data to sync

App Performance Issues

Problem: App is Slow or Freezing

Solutions:

  • Close other apps running in the background
  • Restart your device
  • Free up storage space on your device
  • Update the app to the latest version
  • Check if your device meets minimum requirements

Problem: App Crashes on Startup

Solutions:

  • Force close and restart the app
  • Restart your device
  • Uninstall and reinstall the app
  • Check for iOS/Android system updates
  • Contact support if issue persists

Security & Account Issues

Problem: Can't Access Imported Wallet

Solutions:

  • Try re-importing your wallet with the same credentials
  • Check if you're using the correct private key/seed phrase
  • Verify the wallet type selection matches your actual wallet
  • Clear app data and start fresh (you'll need to re-import)

Problem: Biometric Login Not Working

Solutions:

  • Check if biometrics are enabled in device settings
  • Re-register your fingerprint/face in device settings
  • Disable and re-enable biometric login in app settings
  • Use passcode login as alternative
